Parkland's Facilities Planning & Development Department leads the planning of the new hospital. Led by Walter Jones, Senior Vice President of Health Care Facility Planning & Development, the department coordinates with vendors and partners in planning, design and construction of the new facility. The department is uniquely co-located with the architect and construction manager on Medical District Drive, across from the new site. This co-location gives quick access to the build site and allows experts from all of the various disciplines involved to work together as the project progresses.
